The Greenhithe Volunteer Fire Brigade is running a fundraising event to raise money for the Muriwai Volunteer Fire Brigade. Not only have they tragically lost two of their firefighters in the line of duty during the recent cyclone, but 8 of their crew have been displaced from their homes, which are red stickered, so it’s a pretty challenging time for them operationally and personally.
The event will take place at the Malt in Greenhithe on Sunday, April 2nd.
Featuring Shane Cortese & the 8-Track band. Tickets $25 per person.
A fun community afternoon of Rock n Roll music – all money raised from ticket sales to be donated to the Muriwai Fire Brigade to support locals affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
