Dear Greenhithe residents,

Please find Northern Interceptor Wastewater Pipe Project updates on road works on the Greenhithe Road below:

We (Fletcher) had originally planned to reseal the intersection of Wainoni Heights and Greenhithe Road on 25 June, but this has now been rescheduled for Saturday 27 June, commencing at approximately 7.30am. These works are weather dependant and if it is raining the works will be deferred to the next available fine day. 

The works will be completed in three phases: 

1. Removal of the top 40mm of existing road surface. This will be completed in one movement and during this time access to Wainoni Heights Road will be closed. This procedure should take between 5 – 10 minutes to complete. After this time, access will be opened to one-way traffic. All emergency vehicles will be prioritised during this time.

2. Paving area as indicated by Figure 2, maintaining one-way traffic in and out to Wainoni Heights during this time.

Emergency services have been advised of these works. Please advise if you have any specific issues that need to be considered and liaise with onsite traffic personnel from Pipeline & Civil if required. 

Please note that your water and wastewater services will not be affected.
